I am a nature-inspired artist with degrees in biology and higher education, based in Fort Wayne, Indiana. I work in two main mediums. I am a felter (making pictures and sculptures out of wool) and a painter (typically watercolor or gouache). The pieces featured here are needle felted, crafted from 100% wool and shaped by hand through thousands of carefully placed needle strokes. My portfolio also includes examples of my paintings.

I sell art, teach public classes, and host private parties. In my classes, I combine artistic techniques with fascinating insights about the plants and animals we study.
